Wine Style Errata
A few things to correct from the first printing:
p. 18 second column, second paragraph: wire care should be wire cage
p. 37 under "bubbles and PSI" - in this section, PSI was mistakenly written for atmospheric pressure. They measure the same thing, but the numbers I used are for atmospheres, not PSI. (For PSI, the numbers would be far higher - one atmosphere (ATM) is 14.7 PSI.) It is more accurate to say "The amount of pressure within a bottle of sparkling wine is measured by atmospheric pressure. A higher number means more pressure in the bottle and a more forceful bubble."
The corrected list should be:
Tank Method (sparkling): 2 to 5 atmospheres
Traditional/Classic method (sparkling): 4 to 6 atmospheres
Ancestral Method (semi-sparkling): 2 to 4 atmospheres
p. 162 chocolate olive oil cake recipe: In the ingredients list, the recipe calls for 7 oz chocolate, which is correct, but the accompanying grams is not correct. It should be 7 oz/198 g, not 100 g
